Associate : SOCAN  Ryan Marttala is a Canadian composer and collaborative multi-instrumentalist with an "anything goes" performance background, who encourages amateur music making in choral, instrumental, and orchestral settings, while publishing original scores on his music site, Muse Excite. Interests include composing concert music, mixing electroacoustic sound art, experimenting with pantonal tensegrity, exploring the performance powers of story and wordplay, adding music to silent film (and vice versa), and identifying or creating texts which support pluralistic co-existence and the use of reason. Ryan considers music as a universally recognized form of play, with which we can all rediscover creativity, fellowship, and wonder with each turn.
