I, for at least one, am glad that decided to share your piquant compositions with the world. This is another completely original and completely engaging piece. Your music is not easy to play, but it IS accessible and so worth the effort in learning. Though I doubt I could matxh this tempo, the piece plays well even a little slower. Most enjoyable.
↪ Happy Easter, Paul! I was thrilled and encouraged to receive your comments. Thank you. I agree about the difficulty of some of the pieces. I think when composing them that if Yuja Wang would be able to play it then it will be ok! Then when I come to give it a level on the posting I'm scared of sounding pretentious. I don't mind the tempo being changed! In fact, there is a dearth of phrasing, pedals, and so in in the compositions. One has to leave something up to the performers! The only thing I'm a bit fussy about (not overly) are the articulation indications. I frequently play the organ at my local Mass, and the discovery of your compositions is a blessing. I'm always on the look-out for "voluntaries" and you are a goldfield now that Covid attendance at church has been lifted. I don't think it's a public performance of your work, but if you think it might be please let me know - I would have to avoid playing them because I don't have any money!!! Thanks again, Paul, for your comments.
