He was younger brother of the composer Giuseppe Sellitto . Very little is known about his biography: he certainly served as maestro di cappella at the Collegio dei Nobili in Naples.
As regards his compositional activity, he wrote 72 fugues for harpsichord , a Stabat Mater for 4 voices, violin, viola and continuous bass, the opera La Gineviefa , performed in 1745 and the musical tragedy Santa Perpetua martire . |
