He was maestro di cappella of Bergamo Cathedral (1581-98) and of S Maria Maggiore there (1598-1626). He published at least 15 books of masses, Magnificats, psalms, hymns and motets, mostly for large forces in the Vene tian polychoral style, as well as secular and keyboard works. |
