Fay woodÂworkÂing maÂchinÂery comÂpaÂny, and an exÂtremeÂly sucÂcessÂful busÂiÂnessÂman. He alÂso served as SunÂday School supÂerÂinÂtendÂent and choir diÂrectÂor at the Mount AuÂburn BapÂtist Church in CinÂcinÂnaÂti, Ohio, and beÂqueathed large sums to varÂiÂous causÂes. The Doane MeÂmorÂiÂal MuÂsic BuildÂing in ChiÂcaÂgo, IlÂliÂnois, was named afÂter him.
