This is an original composition for a Good Friday
Tenebrae service. SATB choir plus vocal soloist. This
should be a quick piece to learn for your choir. The
choral part functions as a kind of chaconne in that the
phrases outline a chord sequence and are repeated
throughout the piece. The vocal solo part is not
difficult and the range is one octave.
