"Symphony of Sumer"
is a symphonic piece written for symphony orchestra and
choir in seven parts. It is in the form of several
styles and using vocal texts in ancient Sumerian or
Akkadian. This narrative revolves around an ancient
historical story of the Sumerian people, which is
narrated in the language of music. This symphony is
based on the themes and hymns of the Sumerian tablets
dating back to about 4000 BC and is mixed with
contemporary multi-form music in a postmodernist
style.
