This is my first major orchestral work and is based on
the Celtic folklore of Galicia (as in Northwestern
Spain). The term "Moriña" is difficult to translate
and generally expressed as homesickness...but that does
only explain a small part.
This work is dedicated to the memory of my great friend
and mentor Tómas Barros Pardo.
