singer and pianst, her father Friedich Wieck a well
known piano teacher. She was the wife of Robert
Schumann and close friends to Joseph Joachim, Felix
Mendelssohn and Johannes Brahms. Even her half-brother
Woldemar Bargiel was a well known musician and one of
the famous teacher of composition of his time. The
