Why not a fugue in 3/4 time? There are a lot of rules for fugue writing, so many that it probably makes sense to start at the end and work backwards. There are no phrase markings (slurs) on the piece, as fugues don't seem to have them. Don't know why.

A fugue is one of the hardest musical forms to compose. You do quite a nice job with it here. I am personally biased toward contrapuntal 2-part writing and really enjoyed hearing this and am off now to play it on the piano. Nice going.

Classical Forms

A musical experiment. Why not write following the rules of classical forms like fugues, toccatas, inventions, nocturnes, sonatinas, etc, but, to keep it interesting, utilize modern harmonies and rhythms.
