A delightful medley of three Angel carols that builds to an exciting finish topped by an optional descant trumpet (only goes up to a written G). Carols included are Angels We Have Heard On High, Hark The Herald Angels Sing, and Angels From The Realms of Glory. Features a beautiful brass chorale and since it is well cued, it can be performed successfully even with small bands. Very impressive sound that will be a highlight of any holiday performance!

Designed to open a Christmas concert, A Christmas Herald starts with a fanfare that introduces a lyrical theme, which eventually turns out to be a descant to Hark, the Herald Angels Sing, which is subsequently introduced by trombones and euphoniums. The famous carol then gradually transforms back into the fanfare, which closes the work as it began.

The choir parts are seperately available (order no. AMP 227-050).

As the title implies, Angel Echoes uses a lot of echo effects throughout, and is based on the interval of a descending perfect fifth. The piece begins with a lush statement of the subtle angel theme, which is used throughout the piece and ultimately as the climactic material later in the work. With teachable material steeped in musicality, this remarkable new work for developing ensembles will not disappoint.
