Einfache Noten - höchster AnspruchArvo Pärts Musik schön zu spielen heißt die Perfektion des Klangs zu erreichen. Eine Musik an der vordergründige Virtuosität übermäßige Dynamik oder Effekt beladenes Ausdrucksspiel einfach abprallen die aber im Gegensatz dazu jedem einzelnen Ton den nötigen Raum zur vollkommenen klanglichen Entfaltung gibt. Für den Komponisten ist dies das erklärte Ziel für den Interpreten eine schwer zu erfüllende Aufgabe.Seine Komposition Summa realisierte Pärt selbst bereits in mehreren Besetzungen - ursprünglich für Chorgeschrieben dann arrangiert für verschiedene Streicherbesetzungen. Bestätigung im musikalischen Streben nach Perfektion in der Einfachheit findet sich auch im vorliegenden Saxophon-Arrangement das Pärts intensiven und faszinierenden Sensibilisierungslehrgang zur Optimierung von Klang Intonation und Zusammenspiel um eine Klangvariante erweitert.
