Eglogue Et Danse Pastorale is a piece for Alto Saxophone and Orchestra by Renée Corniot (1901 1972). Dedicated to Marcel Mule it lasts 14 minutes and can be played by advanced players. The first section is slower than the second half and the full piece will require a strong endurance to play some of the Saxophone pieces in the second part as it includes some fast rhythms some accidental notes and alterations and some trills. It would be a perfect work to perform for a recital or a contest.
