My Beloved Spake by Julian Anderson was first performed by members of the London Philharmonic Choir conducted by Neville Creed in Queen's College Chapel Oxford on 23 September 2006. Set to words from Song of Songs the music is soft and lilting. The Faber Choral Signature Series introduces a wealth of new or recently written choral music to choirs in search of fresh repertoire.
