This brief a cappella choral miniature is a reflection on the Transfiguration of the Lord, a Scripture passage observed by many Christian traditions just prior to or during the season of Lent (as well as on the Feast of the Transfiguration, August 6). Set in a largely homophonic texture, the piece sparkles with occasional unexpected and delightful chords highlighting the wonder of the Transfiguration.
