Paul Mealor’s Celtic Prayers was commissioned by the BBC for the BBC National Orchestraof Wales to celebrate St David’s Day 1st March 2014. The premiere took place on that date at St. David’s Hall Cardiff at a gala concert with the participation of the BBC National Chorus of Wales as well as massed youth choirs conducted by Grant Llewellyn.
