Si tratta di un evento cui partecipano anche formazioni straniere, tra cui la Brass Band Alexander di Stavanger in Norvegia, per la quale Philip Sparke ha composto questa marcia. The Conqueror fa parte delle marce da concerto tradizionali. Il titolo si riallaccia ad Alessandro Magno.
