Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte sind die Instrumentalmusik des 17. und 18. Jahrhunderts und die Sinfonik der Wiener Klassiker. Violin Sonatas Volume II-Volume II of Ludwig van Beethoven’s Sonatas for Piano and Violin includes Violin sonatas No. 6-10 - Beethoven wrote 10 sonatas for Violin and Piano in total (No. 1-5 can be found inVolume I of this edition). Out of these 5 sonatas Violin Sonata No. 9 (commonly known as the ‘Kreutzer Sonata’) is the most widely known because of its demanding Violin part unusual length of slightlyless than 40 minutes (with the other four averaging at ca. 23 minutes) and emotional scope - while the first movement is predominantly furious the second is meditative and the third joyous and exuberant. This Urtextedition provides you with a clear and accurate representation of the composer's original intentions. Two copies of the Violin score are included as separate inserts as well as a preface in German English and French.

Georg Friedrich Handel's Sonatas for Violin and Basso Continuo belong to the core repertoire of Baroque Violin music some of them even being among the most famous repertoire pieces of their time. The new edition in the Wiener Urtext Edition series is based on Handel's autographs contemporary copies and first prints. In addition to Handel's nine violin sonatas it contains two minuets for Violin and Basso Continuo which have been handed down in the environment of the sonatas. Apart from the solo Violin part and a Continuo score with a realised easily playable Basso Continuo the edition also includes a figured Bass partwhich gives experienced Continuo players the opportunity to improvise on the Basso Continuo part. The notes on interpretation by the renowned Baroque expert Reinhard Goebel provide insight into a sonata performance that was common practice at the time of Handel.

Eighteen of Mozart's sublime Sonatas for Violin And Piano are collected here edited and fingered by Henry Schradieck with a Piano reduction by Alexander Rihm. They are delightful graceful and flowing displaying all the traits of Mozart’s character. Some date back to 1778 and include the six Palantine Sonatas. All the Violin parts for every sonata are included in a separate volume packaged together with the Piano score.
