Volume Two-The performances in this DVD series present two generations of artists who have advanced the acoustic guitar’s cause with formidable boldness. We clearly hear their folk blues and country roots even as they develop other distinctly personal harmonic and melodic pathways. Geoffrey Tankard was a British composer conductor and highly esteemed educator at the Royal College of Music and later in Bermuda. His seminal work Pianoforte Technique on an Hour a Day has remained an touchstone of Piano technical study since its appearance in 1960.
