Originally published in the Cathedral Series as Glory to God: St. Louis New Plainsong, this Gloria has been revised to include the 2010 Roman Missal translation. The words are set to a tone, making it inherently practical for liturgy: Cantor and/or choir alternate phrases with the assembly, with or without accompaniment. Well suited for Ordinary Time, add the optional SATB harmonies, which can serve as alternate organ harmonizations in absence of choir, to spruce it up for more festive occasions.
