The handbell setting of Mozarts Gloria from the 12th Mass incorporates both the SATB anthem material and the instrumental accompaniment. Ringers need to differentiate between notes that are part of the melodic choral material and notes that are part of accompaniment passages and interludes. Mozarts ornamentation has been written out for ease of interpretation and performance. Careful damping in scale passages is important, but broken-chord accompaniment passages may be treated as LV passages. 3, 4, 5, or 6 octaves.

Talk about a child prodigy; Mozart composed and conducted the premiere of this piece when he was only 12 years old. It's less than two minutes long, but calls for solid choral singing from start to finish. Accompaniment available on PianoTrax 4 CD (00-35870).
