There are a couple tunes which this hymn is commonly
sung to, but unsurprisingly, Dykes's is the far
superior one. The minor key for the first couple lines
really underscores the joy of the rest, relief, and
life we find in Jesus, spoken of in the last couple of
lines where Dykes switches to major. If you've never
heard this hymn before, definitely check it out-it's a
classic!
